Last night I attended the kickoff event for the Tillamook Melty Fest Tour which starts today and runs until July 28! Tillamook is an Oregon-based creamery specializing in cheese and ice cream that is now available locally in the DC area! To celebrate this new launch, Tillamook is throwing the Melty Fest Tour to introduce their award-winning cheese and ice cream to Washingtonians!

I was lucky enough to receive a package of Tillamook cheese and ice cream earlier this month and I’ve tried 6 of their cheeses and 3 of their ice creams. The cheese is legit incredible. My favorite is the farm style thick cut shredded cheese! It is perfect for cooking at home (I made omelets fo...

With the holiday season approaching fast, now is the time to lock in plans for fun holiday/winter inspired events and activities. Luckily, in DC you don't have to go too far to find amazing activities that will be sure to warm your spirit and let you revel in this magical time of year. One of these activities is BOURBON on Ice at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown

A few weeks ago I was invited to a preview of BOURBON on Ice at the Four Seasons Hotel. The name BOURBON on Ice comes from the hotels famed restaurant, BOURBON STEAK (which is incredible, FYI!) which  transformed their patio into an "urban wonderland" complete with luxurious (and heated) ice domes to...

Who else remembers People’s Drug stores from your childhood? The pharmacy was headquartered in Alexandria, VA with locations up and down the east coast. I still remember going to People’s with my parents as a kid to stock up on pharmacy needs, cosmetics, and more. People’s was eventually bought by CVS in the 90s, but thanks to the new cocktail bar, The People’s Drug, based in Old Town Alexandria, we can now pay homage to the iconic brand any day of the week!

Back in April we moved from Arlington to Old Town Alexandria. I was excited by our move, as the Arlington scene had grown stale to me, and I wanted to be surrounded by a new, hip scene. The second weekend after we’d...

Last week I visited Ladurée in Georgetown for the first time on my birthday with my girl Arielle Lewis Studios! You may know I love anything French so celebrating my birthday at a place such as Laudrée was a no-brainer.

Laudrée is located in Georgetown and it’s so stunningly adorable. There are elegant chairs, chandeliers, and all the macarons your little heart could desire. The staff is all French, making me feel like I had instantly been transported to Paris. The Laudrée brand was started in Paris in 1862 and is one of the most well known luxury bakeries around the world!

Arielle and I dined on a rose croissant, pound cake, iced coffees, macarons, and the freshest f...
