Last night I attended the kickoff event for the Tillamook Melty Fest Tour which starts today and runs until July 28! Tillamook is an Oregon-based creamery specializing in cheese and ice cream that is now available locally in the DC area! To celebrate this new launch, Tillamook is throwing the Melty Fest Tour to introduce their award-winning cheese and ice cream to Washingtonians!

I was lucky enough to receive a package of Tillamook cheese and ice cream earlier this month and I’ve tried 6 of their cheeses and 3 of their ice creams. The cheese is legit incredible. My favorite is the farm style thick cut shredded cheese! It is perfect for cooking at home (I made omelets fo...

This past Saturday I attended Diner en Blanc in DC for the second year. Diner en Blanc was started in Paris in the late 80s and is essentially a fancy picnic where everything you wear and bring is white, and you cart all of your supplies with you (table, chairs, food, decor, etc). Diner en Blanc is know for its over the top reputation and is one of the best events for people watching in all of DC, as people go all out with their personal style and looks.

Given this fact, I knew my outfit and entire look had to be good. Real good. While perusing the ELOQUII website for white dresses, I came across the Puff Sleeve Blazer Dress and instantly knew it was the one. I was...

As someone who absolutely loves hosting and attending events, I always think of details that will make for better experiences. Things like the event theme, food and drink, timing, entertainment, and guest gifts all come into play and consideration when I’m starting to plan for an event.

Every month I plan an event for DC area influencers, coined Bubbles & Bloggers, to come together in an inclusive environment and network. I try to change up the event activity every month to do something new so the events stay fresh and exciting. For the month of August, I wanted to do something extra special for the group and I turned to Custom Ink to assist!

For those unfamiliar with Cu...

I am always up for shopping local. In fact, if presented the opportunity to shop a local brand or mainstream brand, I will almost always choose local. This goes for all shopping, but specifically regarding local boutiques, as I really love to support the local fashion community.

Top from Undeniable Boutique

One of my favorite local shops is Undeniable Boutique, located in Mosaic District and Fairfax Corner. Undeniable Boutique is a well curated boutique where you will find some of the most unique items in the area. The selection of apparel, handbags, jewelry, and accessories is unreal and you will not find the same thing in other stores. Alicia, the owner of Undeniable,...

Tomorrow is May 1. Seriously, where has the time gone? Has the N'SYNC "It's Gonna be May" meme popped up in your social media feeds yet? I'm betting that meme is going to be all over social media today and tomorrow....

Speaking of social media, I want to rave a bit <again> about the power of Instagram. Instagram has introduced me to many amazing people and brands. Today's story is about how I came to meet Fia, the owner of Fia's Fab Finds, a size inclusive consignment boutique in Petworth.

About 2 months ago I attended a ReThreadDC meeting, hosted by the Department of Energy. The event was all about reducing textile and fabric waste in DC- which I learned is a huge issu...
