I know I’ve already touched on how much I love the experience of fashion week, but today I’m going to explain the why. I was inspired to write this after the Pamella Rowland show I attended this year at NYFW, and the Gucci FW18 presentation is what is fueling my thoughts as I type this. Something that people don’t understand in fashion (cue my Devil Wears Prada Miranda schooling Andy on blue cerulean sweater moment) – is it is more than just the clothing. It is the inspiration - the thought- the craft – and the artistry that goes into a presentation or collection.

One thing I learned fast after getting into the industry, is designers aren’t designing their lines willy n...

Time flies when you’re having fun. That is the NYFW motto, for sure. I can’t believe its been 1 week since I was in NYC enjoying fashion everything. As you may have read in my post last week, NYFW is so much fun, but it isn’t all glamour and fun. There are some downsides to it, but hey, I’m not complaining- I take it as all part of the experience. Today I’m talking about my third NYFW experience with some tips on attending, along with the details of my favorite outfit of the weekend!

So, to start- this fashion week was just as amazing as the last two. I went with Catherine of Dreamy Realist, and we legit had a ball. We saw some ammmmmazing shows, drank too many Tortilla...

Happy Fab Friday, friends!

Todays post is going to be super short and sweet, as I'm typing this from my hotel in NYC for NYFW. I arrived yesterday and already my trip has been made by the first successful day of seeing the Fall/Winter18 presentations of LANYU and Pamella Rowland. At the Pamella Rowland show  we also spotted Nigel Barker- what a beautiful human!- and I almost cried at the sheer utter beauty of her designs.

Something I want to say as I'm attending NYFW- I cannot express how lucky I am to be here. Attending NYFW has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl. I was invited for the first time last winter to NYFW and this is now my third tim...

I recently did something that I recommend for every blogger to do- I scrolled back to some of my first ever social media posts and went through some of my original content. When I did my website redesign last February, I had to manually move over each blog post, word for word, image for image, to the new site. In doing this, it made me look at 2+ year old content, some of which was just downright terrible. I strategically left some of my original posts off the redesigned blog, as I was truthfully somewhat embarrassed for some of the posts. I thought to myself "OMG, I actually published this?"

After thinking about it for some time, I realized that instead of being ashame...

You all know from Monday's post I'm on a huge leopard kick right now, right? So, when Gwynnie Bee asked me to participate in a 3 ways to wear post featuring this Rachel Roy Tuxedo Cape, I knew leopard had to be involved.

I am a huge fan of capes. They instantly add the perfect touch of class and confidence to any look, and I personally think they make you look super sophisticated, too. I am always on the hunt for great pieces like this in my closet as they are timeless and give off an elegant look. When Gwynnie Bee sent this Tuxedo Cape, I was totally floored. It is well made and super sleek, and my mind started turning of how I was going to style this look.

For those o...
