One of the most magical things about Paris is what you'll encounter during your time there. Gorgeous streets, interesting people, fluffy cats perched on cafe tables, and perfectly behaved dogs walking the streets without leashes- you literally see it all in Paris. <Yes, I totally saw a fluffy cat casually sitting at a table in a cafe this trip, lol, it was my favorite thing I've ever seen in Paris>. What you don't always see is the intricate, characteristic courtyards that adorn many of the apartment buildings behind traditional French doors. Behind these doors is a whole other side of Paris- one that is local to its residents.

Since we stayed in an Airbnb right o...

Coming off the brink of my amazing first ever Paris Fashion Week experience, I've decided that instead of doing a crazy long recap of everything I wore in Paris, that I'd share each outfit as a post itself!

For our first day in Paris, the plan was to grab an amazing lunch at the original Angelina, head to the all new Harpers Bazaar fashion exhibit, visit showrooms, and pick up a mailed show invite from my dear friend Chloe who let me use her address for a show invitation to kick off PFW. Since the first day in Paris is always difficult with jet lag, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible- plus we'd be walking a lot, so comfortable shoes were key! I decided...

To this date, this collaboration is my favorite of all time. It pushed me in new ways and the outcome I felt was fantastic. Since its been a year, I wanted to re-share this post, to remind everyone to accept challenges and experiences as a way to better yourself!

Wow. These were the only words that came to me when I viewed the much anticipated photos from my shoot with Curvysta Magazine and Jovanna Reyes Photography for Gatsbylady London.

I met Jovanna at the ELOQUII grand opening party. She approached me and instantly told me she wanted to work with me on Curvysta Magazine, an online publication run by Jovanna herself. I was flattered an...

For the like thousandth time, I will say it again- my favorite thing about blogging is the people it has introduced me to. Blogging has introduced me to some amazing, creative people who have inspired me and pushed me creatively. Today's post is dedicated to a creative collaboration with DC area photographer, Stephen Creative Lab aka @ayostephens on Instagram.

Stephen and I collaborated on a vintage inspired creative shoot. I appreciated that when we were planning the shoot, Stephen asked me if I had any certain styles or themes I wanted to explore or try. We decided on a vintage theme, and Stephen located Ari's Diner in Ivy City, for a great backdrop to match the vint...

For today's FAB Friday, I'm sharing this Fab vintage inspired look I wore to the November Bubbles & Bloggers brunch meetup at Agua 301 Mexican restaurant. We originally had a different venue, however last minute changes occurred so I had to pick another location fast that could accommodate 20 people without a problem! Agua 301 was so accommodating with last minute reservations and gave us a whole private seating area with 2 dedicated waiters who kept our drinks full throughout the brunch! I had been here before for lunch, but I'll say I was even more impressed this time around for brunch. The brunch menu is extensive and provides a wide range of options to choose from....
