All Black Everything

I was recently going through my blog photo folders, when I realized I had a folder with an outfit that I had yet to post! I think I was having one of those weeks where you feel like you are super behind in life and work, and so when I uploaded these photos to my computer from a Restaurant Week dinner (yes, like over a month ago!) I put them in a folder and walked away, hoping to get to them later. Well, since its later I'm finally sharing this look that is still relevant with some fall vibes for the upcoming season.

My go to color is almost always black, for a few reasons. One, its flattering; two, its easy to match; three, it can be worn any time or any season; and four, did I mention its flattering? Although I wore this look in the summer, it is the perfect outfit to transition into the fall. Since black is so versatile and can be worn any time, I can take this exact same outfit into fall with little to no changes. With cooler temps I'd likely throw a moto or bomber jacket over this look, but its still fall appropriate as is! Shout out to Roxanne for the outfit picks!

I wore this look to dinner at Floriana for Restaurant Week with some of my Blogger Baes, Roxanne and Vivi. We decided on Italian for our restaurant pick since we all love Italian food and we wanted to try somewhere none of us had been. The dinner started off a little rocky when they wanted to seat us outside, but due to it being 100 degrees that day, we requested an indoor table, which resulted in a wait time. We were sent to the bar which is in the basement, which was fine, but we ended up waiting for a while before being seated. That said, they were busy and the bar scene was fun, so I get it....but to assume anyone would want to sit outside in the heat was beyond me. When we were seated, we found out they had half price bottles of wine, which was a definitely plus and we ordered champagne for the table. The 3 course meal selections were really good for Restaurant Week too and allowed you to pick one course from the appetizer/salad list, one from the entree list, including meat & fish, and ice cream for dessert. I picked the caprese salad as a starter and decided on the mignon tortellini as my entree. I was very pleased with both picks and really enjoyed the tortellini in particular! I would definitely go back for dinner, but on a Wednesday night to enjoy half price bottles of wine as well!
