Acting 'Koi' in Color
And the fun prints and bright colors obsessions continues today on BITD! This summer I have been really inspired by non-traditional prints and fun, whimsical styles. I also have been inspired by opening up to bright colors, which is a change to my normal #allblackeverything style. One thing about style, is it evolves. It can evolve with age, with the introduction of a new brand, and trends. For me, I find my evolving style through all three of these things. I've also been inspired by summer, and this yellow look is brought you inspired by yellow sunshine, blue skies, and summer prints by ELOQUII.
While I am loving bright colors, I know they aren't for everyone. With this post I am trying to tell you to go all in and try bright colors, but I get the resistance at first. If you aren't ready to rock bright yellow like this look here, try other ways of incorporating bright colors and prints. Below are some of my personal favorite ways of adding color to any look.
Great ways to incorporate color to your look:
1. Fun sunnies! If you want to keep your clothing more subdued, look for a fun pair of colored sunnies, like the yellow ones I'm wearing in this post. I have linked a similar pair below.
2. A fun bright or printed statement dress! You all know my loves at ELOQUII have some of the best printed dresses- see a previous post I wrote on some of my fave printed dresses.
3. Bring color to a neutral purse by tying a scarf to it! Check out one of my fave affordable shops, Luxe Statements, has some great Twilly Scarf options for $12.99!
4. Tassel Earrings- which are absolutely huge this year. You can find them in all sorts of shapes and colors and they add the perfect pop of color. Mine pictured are also from Luxe Statements.
