Travel through Style
It's Tuesday, which means #TravelTuesday to the Instagram world, which I like to follow. But, today I'm switching things up a bit by featuring travel-inspired apparel picks, instead of a actually destination post! Fun, right? I got the idea because I recently signed up to try Gwynnie Bee, a clothing rental company that caters to size 10-32- and I received the most fabulous Paris dress in my first shipment.
The way it works, is you register for a free trial (try a 30 day free trial here!) and then populate your closet with items from their online store. You're then sent packages with 2 items weekly to try out. You can wear the items once, or as many times as you'd like, and then return them, or keep the ones you love. If you keep an item, you'll receive a good discount on the retail value. I recently received my first box and I'm already a fan. Not only is it easy, but the fact you can wear an item and then send it back with no commitment is awesome. The shipping is free and the dry cleaning is even taken care of for you.
When I was populating my closet, I came across this Paris inspired Eiffel Tower print and I knew it had to be mine! I prioritized the item and received it, long with one other pick, within days. The dress fit perfectly and it will have a permanent home in my real closet. When I styled it for pictures, I paired it with my Lucky Cat purse which gave me the idea for travel or country-inspired style for Travel Tuesday! Between my Paris dress and my Lucky Cat purse, which is a talisman for luck and fortune from Japanese culture, I had my bases covered with travel inspiration and culture!
