Last week I visited Ladurée in Georgetown for the first time on my birthday with my girl Arielle Lewis Studios! You may know I love anything French so celebrating my birthday at a place such as Laudrée was a no-brainer.
Laudrée is located in Georgetown and it’s so stunningly adorable. There are elegant chairs, chandeliers, and all the macarons your little heart could desire. The staff is all French, making me feel like I had instantly been transported to Paris. The Laudrée brand was started in Paris in 1862 and is one of the most well known luxury bakeries around the world! Arielle and I dined on a rose croissant, pound cake, iced coffees, macarons, and the freshest fruit salad I’ve had in quite some time. Laudrée knew it was my birthday and even brought me a sweet dessert to celebrate - such a nice touch!
I decided to wear my new Slit Front Printed Sequin Maxi Dress from ELOQUII for our lunch, because while it’s sequins, it’s not so over the top that it looks so ridiculously extra at 11am on a Monday. The thing I love about ELOQUII is their vast selection of amazing dresses that can take you from a fancy daytime lunch date to a nighttime date in zero seconds flat!
