I'm not sure about you guys, but the weather the past 2 days has felt like fall and I'm SO here for it! I know I already proclaimed my love for fall in my last blog post, and today I'm following up with an invite to the Fashion NoVA Fall fashion show and event, happening this Saturday, September 15 from 3-5pm at Fairfax Corner.

This year, the Fashion NoVA event will feature the latest fall trends in a size inclusive fashion show, special one-day shopping offers, sips and bites, complimentary hair and beauty treatments, and more! Last year I was a part of the fashion show, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to be in the show again this year! The fashion show will showcase trends directly from the local boutiques that you can immediately shop for. The fashion show starts at 4pm, and will be emceed by the fabulous Sarah Fraser of the Hey Frase podcast. The event is free, however there are VIP tickets available for purchase which guarantee a seat and other goodies, with proceeds benefiting Women Giving Back.
If you aren't familiar with Fairfax Corner, it is <in my opinion> one of the best shopping and lifestyle destination centers in Fairfax. With boutiques and shops such as Undeniable Boutique, LOFT, Soft Surroundings, White House Black Market, Lou Lou, South Moon Under, The Nest Egg, and more, its a one stop location for amazing shops. The dining options are also fab and include some of my faves such as Peet's Coffee, Uncle Julios, and Great American Restaurants Ozzie's and Coastal Flats.
Over the summer I attended the Fairfax Corner Shop, Sip, and Stroll events where I became more familiar with the shops and at the August event, I was on the hunt for some new fall items. I ended up finding this perfect Dolman Zip Up Knit Top from Undeniable Boutique, which I had to have! For me, I'm not a *huge* sweater person due to their heaviness, so when I find one with good fabric I snag it right away- especially since a fall sweater is always on trend for fall! This sweater is almost sheer, and lightweight but still heavy enough for some warmth. It also has a looser fit, so you can wear it solo for warmer fall days like I did here with a pretty lacy bralette, or you can layer it with a tank or even over a maxi dress or jumpsuit for some added warmth in transitional dressing. The zipper neck detail is also fab, with the ability to wear it zipped high or low, depending on where you're going. It is the perfect fall everyday piece! I decided to style it with another fall fave- camo pants- and dressed it up with pointed toe booties!
