Merry Christmas! Plus Easy, Last Minute Holiday Cocktails

Writer: Dani SauterDani Sauter

It's Christmas Eve and this post is coming straight to you from Dulles Airport where I'm currently drinking a glass of champs, eating a side of fries, and patiently waiting to board a flight to Paris! YAY!

Before leaving, I wanted to share holiday wishes with you and wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas! Let us be thankful for friends and loved ones, and may we reflect on happy memories over the past year. I hope this holiday season has been joyous and may tomorrow be a cheerful day fun of love and prosperity!

I also wanted to share some last minute cocktail recipes in case you may be hosting and are looking for some fun and easy holiday themed drinks to wow your guests! My go-to cocktails are poinsettias and Irish coffees, and below is my easy adaptation of how to make them!

Poinsettias

Mix 1 part cranberry juice with 2 parts champagne, top with cranberries and a orange slice for garnish & voila! Serve chilled and in cute holiday flutes. CHEERS!

Irish Coffee

This is so simple- all you need is a cute mug filled with fresh brewed coffee, add a shot (or 2 ) of Irish whisky & a tablespoon of sugar & stir. Top with peppermint whipcream (Whole Foods has it!) & cute holiday Peeps marshmallows & bam! The best holiday Irish coffee!

XOXO
