Size Inclusive Robes

Writer: Dani SauterDani Sauter

If you, like me, have been living in lounge clothes during quarantine then todays post is going to be right up your alley! Earlier this week I focused on super cute pajama sets, and today I'm focusing on my normal go-to for at-home lounging- robes!!

Ever since I was little, I have been a robe girl. I think maybe this stems from seeing my mom in robes as a young girl, but I've always found them to be feminine. Enter also old Hollywood photos of stars from the 1930s and 1940s wearing fancy and beautiful robes in their dressing rooms- they just look so beautiful and classy. While I love robes, shopping for them can be difficult with sizing.

When I used to travel 75% of the time for work, one of the perks I would look forward to was fancy hotel room robes....except 9 times out of 10, the robe wouldn't fit. Even for my wedding in 2013, I was a size 14 at the time and I couldn't find a pretty dressing robe that fit around me or was long enough to cover my rear! I ended up having to wear the "Bride" crystal embellished robe my aunt gave me open, with a nightgown underneath. I have always loved robes, but man has it been a feat finding good ones that truly fit!

Luckily we now have more options, but they can still be hard to come by! So, today I'm sharing some plus-size robes picks that are perfect to lounge at home in during quarantine!

XOXO
