Winter Style On Repeat

I’ve got to admit- while I LOVE color, my day-to-day winter uniform currently consists of black on black on black. There is something just so sleek about it. Even with events & life picking up again, I still have found myself reaching for the same items over and over again. Whether it’s weekend errands, dinner with friends, travel, date night, or anything in between, these three items have been my go-to again and again this season.

Black Turtlenecks

If you’ve been around BITD for awhile, you already know black turtlenecks are my jam every winter! This is my year… 4? 5? wearing turtlenecks all winter long and I still can’t get enough. Heres why: they go with literally everything, they are warm, and they look polished and chic. Two of my faves are linked below!

Faux Leather

I’m definitely more of a dress/skirts girl and honestly have a hard time with jeans, so I have found that faux leather skirts or faux leather legging/joggers are it for me. I love how elevated a faux leather look can be and it adds a touch of instant cool. You can almost always find me in a faux leather skirt, but for days when I want extra warmth or if I’m just feeling pants in general, faux leather leggings/joggers have become my faves. I’ve linked my picks below and my ultimate fave leggings for $40 here.

Chelsea Boots

Over the holidays I treated myself to the Bottega Chelsea boots that have been engrained in my mind since I first saw them. While they come with a pricier tag, I can guarantee they’ve been worth every dollar spent. I‘ve worn these shoes literally nonstop since getting them around Christmas. They go with everything and give off the best cool, street style vibes you could ask for! I’ve linked them below as well as some other options!

Color Tip: When I’m feeling like I want a pop of color to my all black everything look, I’ll throw on colorful earrings, a bright purse, colored tights, or a fun jacket to bring the look together!
