ALL NEW SACRED HEART COLLECTION!

WOW! I am so excited to introduce you to the first ever BITD product launch, labeled the Sacred Heart, in collaboration with one of my favorite local artists and designers, Tulusa!

I met Sue Henry, the designer and owner of Tulusa, a little over a year ago, although I had been following her unique block-printing business on Instagram for much longer. When we met in person and I saw her designs first hand, we instantly clicked. Her bright, colorful, hand-printed designs of tigers, cheetah print, dots, feathers, and more, brought me joy and I vividly remember smiling ear to ear while browsing her joyous home, textile, and clothing designs.

Since then, my couch is full of Tulusa pillows and with the onset of the pandemic, some of my go-to masks are by Tulusa - not to mention my first ever face mask order back in March 2020 was from Sue! Having kept in touch and supporting each other over the past year, we talked about collaborating in 2021, as our missions were so in touch with each other- to bring joy, positivity, and happiness to others. Plus, we both love animals (especially big cats!).

I kept thinking of what a collaboration for us could look like and I kept envisioning a sacred heart symbol. The symbol to me means love - deep, deep love - for oneself and others. We talked about the design and Sue sketched out some options, using her trademark sunbeam rays, and the design was absolutely perfect. We collaborated and tweaked the colors and design, and voila - the Sacred Heart was born! And, what better time to launch than during February - the month of love!

The sacred heart was created out of love and inclusion. Our sacred heart is a celebration of self-love and promotes celebrating love for others. We started the collection with a limited edition sweatshirt and face mask, because lets be real- sweatshirts and face masks are our reality right now! My hopes are that this collection will bring you happiness and love, and remind you to love yourself, and lead with light and love.

All products are hand-printed and painted by Sue at the Tulusa studio in Alexandria, VA. The face masks are available in three color ways (white, lavender, and navy), and the sweatshirt is available in pink in sizes S-4X, but quantities are limited. Visit the Sacred Heart shop to see more!

XOXO
