For today's FAB Friday, I'm sharing this Fab vintage inspired look I wore to the November Bubbles & Bloggers brunch meetup at Agua 301 Mexican restaurant. We originally had a different venue, however last minute changes occurred so I had to pick another location fast that could accommodate 20 people without a problem! Agua 301 was so accommodating with last minute reservations and gave us a whole private seating area with 2 dedicated waiters who kept our drinks full throughout the brunch! I had been here before for lunch, but I'll say I was even more impressed this time around for brunch. The brunch menu is extensive and provides a wide range of options to choose from. They also have bottomless mimosas, sangria, margaritas, or bloody marys- which is a steal since most places only do mimosas!
Since our original venue was a vintage store, the meetup had a vintage theme that I decided to keep even after having to change venues. Too many people were already excited about their vintage outfits, so we went with it and stormed the Navy Yard in our vintage and throwback gear, because why not? I chose to wear what I'll label one of my favorite articles of clothing- a vintage sequin party jacket I scored at a vintage event 2 summers ago. I purchased it from a vintage retailer out of Philadelphia, PA- Sophisticated Phunk Vintage. The funny part of this story is I almost didn't buy the jacket! I left the event without it, thinking I'd never wear it, got to my car- and started it- just to turn it off and go back to the event for it. I couldn't let myself drive off knowing I may never see that fabulous jacket again! I chose to make the jacket look more modern by pairing it with OTK boots, a black faux leather mini, and my first ever Louis bag that looks vintage-y since its an older style.
While I can't give you my exact jacket details since its vintage, I have compiled a list of fun bombers. Any of these jackets would make for a fab look, and can worn with the rest of my outfit of a faux leather skirt, OTK boots, and a simple black tank under.
