By now I’m sure you’ve seen my recent post about LOFT. LOFT has been a store I have shopped at for many years, and their launch of the plus line is legit life changing for me. I can now fit into items that were off limits like pants and jeans, and the new styles fit me perfectly.
Last Thursday night I co-hosted the LOFT Plus Pop-Up Party at the Tysons Corner location. This event is one of eight in their pop-up events around the country. Currently the plus line is only available online, so the pop-up’s are where you can actually go to try on and see the product in real life. The Tysons event was extra special, as you could actually buy the product too, instead of just ordering it, and we also got to see a preview of the new styles coming in March – and let me tell you, you should be excited! I already have a list of items I’m going to snag as soon as it launches!
The plus pop-up party was amazing. What I loved the most about the event was the range of people in attendance- there were women between the ages of 20-60 who came out to see the new line, which really goes to show how much LOFT is a brand that appeals to so many women. There were women there like me, who had shopped the brand for many years but couldn’t fit certain cuts, and there were women who have only been there to shop with friends but have always admired the brand, and now, finally can shop for themselves! It was truly beautiful to see so many happy faces at the event, and I am so proud to say I was there to witness a nationally recognized brand like LOFT make a positive impact on so many people.
For the event, I decided to wear my new LOFT Plus Ponte Flounce Dress – which is quickly becoming my new fave LBD as its wearability is off the charts! – paired with the Peony Infinity Scarf and Beaded Pom Pom Earrings. Other than the clothes, LOFT has also been a brand who carries fun and stylish accessories to round off your look! Their scarves are some of my favorite as they are lightweight and can be worn through many seasons. During the event I was also able to try more items and feel them out and I loved so many of the pieces. With the overwhelming success of the plus launch, the brand has actually had to reschedule some of the pop-ups, but luckily for us in the DC Metro Area, we have another one coming up on April 25 at the LOFT in Dupont Circle from 6-9pm. I’m telling you now to save the date, because it is going to be fab!
