In 2015, I had the honor of attending the Beyond the Little Black Dress fashion show hosted by the Alliance Française . I was a volunteer for the event and took over their Instagram handle to cover the show. It was that year that I was introduced to AF, and the magic of French culture in DC. You see, I always loved Paris, but the charm of an organization such as the Alliance Française was new to me. I was mesmerized by the Beyond the Little Black Dress show, and it is one of the first events that I attended due to my blog. I have always appreciated the opportunity to volunteer at that show, and that the AF trusted in me for their prestigious event.
This year, I have an even greater honor of being asked by the Alliance Francaise,to emcee the Beyond the Little Black Dress show. This news came to me right after a trip to Paris, and I took it as a sign. I have always loved the magic of Paris, and being asked to bring Paris to DC for the evening through a fashion show, is truly a gift. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be a part of the show.
The fashion show will take place at the Embassy of France this Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 7:30pm. The show will feature an out of this world fashion show featuring Zophia, Le Bustiere, Mindy Lam, International Fashion Academy (IFA) Paris, SK Paris, and The Jarmal Harris Project.
There are three tiers of tickets available- Standing ($55), GA Seated ($135), and VIP Seated (Sold Out). Tickets may be purchased online at the Beyond the Little Black Dress website.
